Beijing Dangdai Art Fair 2026
The 2026 edition of Beijing Dangdai Art Fair 2026 officially opened on 21 May at Hall 11 of the National Agricultural Exhibition Center. Under the annual theme LAND TRACE, this year’s Fair approaches contemporary art through the lenses of geo-cultural perspectives and historical geography, seeking to reactivate local experiences and embodied perceptions across multiple contexts, while further mapping the nuanced landscape of contemporary art amid ongoing processes of value reconfiguration. From 21 to 24 May, a total of 144 participating institutions from 49 cities across 22 countries have gathered within the Fair’s nearly 20,000-square-meter exhibition space. Together with the “108 Hours of Beijing” unfolding across the city during the Fair period, the Fair creates a shared spatial and temporal experience, inviting audiences to tune into the art zone of Beijing.
