DIGITALLATION
DIGITALLATION places a focus on the currently thriving technological aesthetics and technological art. Giving spotlight to art forms unique to the digital era, such as media art, digital sculpture, virtual art, crypto art, AI, human-computer interaction, on the site of the expo and presenting the invisible via the visible offer the new generation of audience with both technological and aesthetic visions and insights the opportunity to experience the latest trends of artistic innovations.
Beijing Dangdai Art Fair 2021, DIGITAILLATION Sector
DIGITALLATION sector integrates digital technology and installation forms, focusing on the booming technological aesthetics and technological art, and presenting the unique art forms of the digital age at the art fair, allowing the new generation of audiences with both technological and aesthetic literacy to experience the unique contemporary artistic innovation. Ren Dongsheng, a national first-class stage designer and deputy director of the Beijing Dance Academy Youth Dance Company, and Joe Wang, a new media artist, founder of BLACKBOW, and chief visual designer of the 70th anniversary of the National Day, will be invited artists to create immersive interactive installations based on the spatial environment of the art fair, exploring new possibilities for technology and art.
