Jointly build the “Beijing Art Season”, the first list of participating art institutions of Beijing Dangdai Art Fair is released

The Beijing Dangdai Art Fair 2025 will take place from May 22 to 25 at Hall 11 of the National Agricultural Exhibition Center. May 22–23 will be VIP preview days, and May 24–25 will be open to the public. Themed around “CONCAVE-CONVEX,” the expo continues its exploration of the depth and diversity of contemporary art.

This year’s Beijing Dangdai Art Fair delves deeper into the layers and textures of contemporary art, presenting a three-dimensional and profound artistic experience across 20,000 square meters. In collaboration with the Beijing International Design Week, and alongside other professional art events such as Gallery Week Beijing and ART021 BEIJING, the expo contributes to the formation of the “Beijing Art Season,” positioning Beijing as key a destination on the global art calendar in May.

The first batch of participating institutions includes 94 galleries from 32 cities and 12 countries, with the total number expected to exceed 120.

Among them, 26 galleries are making their debut at Beijing Dangdai, such as Eslite Gallery (Beijing, Taipei), Dumonteil (Paris, Shanghai), Tiger Room (Munich), Mi Yin Gallery (Shanghai), Tsutaya Books (Tokyo), PSM (Berlin), and ShanghART Gallery (Shanghai,Beijing,Singapore).

Fifty galleries are returning from last year’s fair, including Beijing Commune, Contemporary Tangens Art Center, Tokyo Gallery + BTAP, White Space, Galerie Urs Meile, MadeIn Gallery, A2Z Art Space, Antenna Space, and Star Gallery, all of which have participated in seven consecutive editions of Beijing Dangdai, demonstrating their continued confidence in the fair and the Beijing art market.

Centered around the fair, curated VIP itineraries exploring different districts of Beijing will also be released, offering an unforgettable “Beijing 108 Hours” experience for visitors.
