The 6th edition of the “Beijing Dangdai Art Fair” is poised to unfold in the No.11 hall of the National Agricultural Exhibition Center from May 23rd to 26th 2024. VIP preview is set on May 23rd and 24th, followed by public days on May 25th and 26th.

The 2023 Beijing Dangdai Art Expo, themed “REUNION,” maintained strong sales, earning acclaim within the industry. Beijing Dangdai remains committed to curating the most diverse array of galleries, collaborating with the artistic and cultural institutions of Beijing, presenting a vibrant ecosystem constantly gaining traction. Join us next year at the site of the Beijing Contemporary Art Fair to share in the art world and savor “Beijing time”.

The previous edition of the “Beijing Dangdai Art Fair” featured 154 participating institutions and welcomed 80,000 attendees over four days. The 2024 Beijing Contemporary Art Fair will build upon the scale and presentation of the previous edition, featuring six on-site sectors. “VALUE” sector will invite gallerist-conscious exhibitors that are from uniquely original landscape, to showcase respective diverse value systems. “FUTURE” sector invites exhibitors to curate progressive artworks and art projects to explore innovative presentation and artists concepts. Other four sectors include public art sector “WONDER”, digital art sector “DIGITALLATION”, lifestyle aesthetics sector “ENERGY”, and creative market sector “CO-TIME”, showcasing future trends of the Chinese contemporary art ecosystem. The gallery sector’ lineup, expanding on the foundation of the previous edition, will include more participating institutions from Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, and overseas. Together, they will shape the panorama of the contemporary art world and collectively drive the future development of the cultural and artistic industry.

Beijing Dangdai Art Fair will coincide with Beijing International Design Week and Gallery Weekend Beijing, along with Beijing People Beneficial Cultural Consumption Season, together, we will embark on a series of collaborations, creating artistic synergies across the whole city. The application for participation in the 2024 Beijing Contemporary Art Fair is currently open, and we eagerly anticipate more partners to join us, collectively uniting and inspiring the cultural and artistic forces of Beijing, and to uncover the essence of contemporary art.
