2018.09.02|After the Southern Song Dynasty: Stories of Hangzhou Art Collective
The Southern Song Dynasty was the cultural peak of Hangzhou in history. What happened to Hangzhou after the Southern Song Dynasty? As one of the creators of culture, how do artists view, respond to, and live in today’s Hangzhou, which is connected to each of us after the Southern Song Dynasty? … There is a young and strong voice that has been trying to respond to these questions, that is, the “Martin Goya Business” stationed in Hangzhou: an alternative, free and diverse art collective and art platform. This lecture invited two co-founders of “Martin Goya Business”: artist Cheng Ran and screenwriter Damian, and their good friend art historian Zhang Yuling. The three of them came to tell everyone a story about a postmodern art collective “Martin Goya Business” in Hangzhou after the Southern Song Dynasty.
